Monday (July 18) was Marine Day or Ocean Day or something - so it was a holiday. I met up with Garcia-sensei from Pacific University at Shinjuku Station and we went to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building to check out the observatory on the 45th floor. Sunday (July 10) I did exactly as I said I would - study and do homework. I’m really sick of kanji. Already. Not so much studying the words I need to know, as writing the furigana for all of the stuff I don’t know after spending a ton of time hunting for them in my kanji dictionary.
